Photo facial, or IPL, or laser skin rejuvenation, is a state-of-the-art skin treatment that stimulates the production of collagen to improve the effects of sun damage, rosacea, fine lines, large pores, and more. A 15-20-minute treatment with little to no recovery time, IPL Photo facials are safe and extremely effective at treating the face, neck, and chest areas. No pain at all, no downtime. IPL photo facial uses precise amounts of powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat sun damaged skin, fine lines, brown spots, and small blood vessels. And IPL facial can also be used to treat rosacea, helping reduce the redness and flushing caused by rosacea by up to 80%.The hand piece emits intense pulses of light that penetrate the skin and are absorbed by damaged tissue. This stimulates the production of collagen and causes blood vessels beneath the epidermis to constrict. As a result, you’ll experience a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, smaller pore sizes, the fading of age spots and pigmentation, and smoother, softer skin. IPL photo facial improves the appearance of:

When Will I See Results? How Long Will They Last?

- Sun damage and skin complexion results are noticeable a few days after the first session. Your skin will continue to gradually improve, with a significant improvement in clarity and complexion after 2-3 weeks. Multiple photo facial sessions will improve the final outcome.

- Results are permanent. However, future sun exposure will make your skin susceptible to additional damage. If you take good care of your skin and protect it from the sun, the underlying issues are less likely to return.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

- Your skin’s appearance will be visibly improved after the first IPL photo facial session. Your treatment plan will depend on the severity of skin damage and type of treatment (vascular vs. sun damage).

- Results can be achieved in a single session. For optimal results we typically recommend 3 sessions scheduled 4 weeks apart. To maintain results, we also recommend a maintenance treatment every 3-4 months.

What Does It Feel Like? Does It Hurt?

- To start your treatment, You’ll put on special glasses to protect your eyes, and then a cool gel will be applied on the skin of the treatment area.

- Next, the smooth glass surface of the IPL hand piece is gently applied to your skin. There will be a bright flash of light when the light pulses are emitted. Typically guests say it does not hurt. You will feel a tingling or light elastic sensation, similar to a mild snap of a rubber band. We will wrap up your session by wiping off the gel, cleaning the area with a warm cloth, and applying moisturizer and sunscreen.

What Should I Expect Post Treatment?

- Typically, the skin will be red and feel slightly warm after treatment. This usually subsides within about 20 minutes. The facial mask will help to reduce the red. You will not have any bad looking when you finish the treatment. Also, you could wear make-up or wash your face right away. Avoid direct, excessive sun exposure or tanning immediately after treatment.
